San Diego Photographer Hopes to Inspire Kids to be Extraordinary and to Dream Big

"Aspire" to Focus On Extraordinary People, Unique Jobs, Hero's & Innovators San Diego, CA (AndrewGrantPhoto.com), January 18, 2007. San Diego photographer Andrew Grant, known for his captivating portraits and fashion photography, announces production of "Aspire" a philanthropic photojournalism compilation. The project, a 12" x 18" book of 300 portraits, will feature extraordinary individuals accompanied by their inspirational stories. Says Grant,"We hope Aspire will inspire people to become extraordinary, dream big, pursue their passion and to make the world around them a better place during their lifetimes" Aspire's various subjects will include include innovators, niche specialists and others who have risen to the absolute pinnacle of their professions, often overcoming challenges to do so. Once complete, Grant hopes the powerful images will spur inspiration - particularly within the next generation of achievers. Grant adds, "I want young people to dream big, regardless of their backgrounds or the adversities they may face."

With pictures and words, Aspire will also convey the stories of people with unique jobs, from test pilots to dolphin trainers and profile how such unusual, but important careers begin. Finally, Grant hopes to captures what he refers to the "Spirit of America" by profiling entrepreneurs, innovators and individuals who have exhibited heroic kindness, courage and self-sacrifice while improving the lives of others.

Grant will donate copies of Aspire to schools with the help of corporate sponsors, private donations and proceeds from sales of the non-profit project.

Contact the photographer to nominate a subject, sponsor the project or to donate funds or services needed to produce Aspire including; copy writing, editing, graphic design, travel, promotion, publishing and distribution.
